Research Abstract

A founding member of the Sentries and the volunteer system administrator of the Sentry Outpost, Bryce Droher was an adept UNIX security professional and responsible for much of the early analysis of the server corruption related to the Lucky 5 malware. In late May 2007, while claiming to be close to understanding what the server corruptions were, Bryce had a psychotic break that required his hospitalization after ritualistically beheading a number of doves in his apartment.

Speculation:

When attempting to describe his epiphany to the Sentries, Bryce connected it to stories of ancient Egyptian magician Dadi: "They don't have to stay dead."
