Research Abstract

B.A. Saint-Feline is not the only person experiencing the recurring Nightmare: others, many who see each other cats in the ruined city, have wandered this nightmare for far longer. They recognize each other in the dreamscape, and they feel drawn to Saint-Feline for different reasons. Many of them also share sensitivity to various kinds of technology and seek out less EMF noisy environments as a relief for those symptoms. As a group, they lack any clear organization and often have very different opinions about what is happening to them and to B.A.

Speculation

BA is somewhat unique among the Dreamers for her ability to shape the Nightmare: there is speculation that BA has replaced Emmet as some kind of guardian figure in the Dreamscape.
