Research Abstract

While certain Dreamers tend to see each other as individual cats in the Nightmare, they and B.A. Saint-Feline share the perception of a single dog in the city of Nightmares, one wearing a tag on it's collar naming it "Providence". Many of the Sentries feel this Dog of Dreams reflects the collective actions of their group and identify strongly with the statement "I am Providence." B.A. and some (but not all) of the Dreamers seem to feel a similar bond with Providence, but expressed surprise that Providence wasn't a single person, but was instead a group.

Speculation

Items that Sentries gave to B.A. in their dreams often appeared in the Providence's yard in B.A.'s dreams.
